About
Having graduated from Aberystwyth University with a degree in Fine Arts and Art History, Miranda's first position was working for a historic building restoration company developing her artistic capabilities as a conservator and free hand modeller. The pinnacle of her time was spent at Windsor Castle, working alongside a team of fibrous plasterers and sculptors reinstating the fire damaged ceilings of the castle. Having studied the History of Architecture and Design it was a natural progression to move into interior design where Miranda could fuse her collected knowledge of buildings and their interiors with her artistic flair which were subsequently finely honed by her many years working with Jane Ormsby Gore at JR Design.
Since working independently, Miranda has undertaken many varied projects, from local community centres to historic houses across the UK, alongside her passion for furniture restoration and reupholstery which remains a firm favourite. Miranda continues to work in restoration pursuing her respect for sustainability within interiors.
